Announcements
2024-2025 FAFSA Release Date The 2024-25 FAFSA becomes available in December 2023. You must file a FAFSA every year to be considered for financial aid. We will continue to update you via website, social media and email.
Federal Student Loan Repayment Begins The student loan moratorium has ended and federal student loan repayment is set to begin. Federal student loan servicers began reaching out to students during this summer to inform borrowers of their payment due dates which are beginning in October 2023. If you have not already heard from your federal loan servicer, please contact them immediately. If you are not sure how to locate your federal loan servicer, feel free to contact Student Connections. VCU has partnered with Student Connections to assist our student loan borrowers, both past and present, with financial barriers that could impact attending college, completing programs of study and achieving success after graduation.
VCU partners with the College Cost Transparency (CCT) Initiative VCU aims to provide clear, accurate, and consistent student financial aid offers, and in continuing to do so, has joined the CCT initiative to employ the principles and standards set forth. VCU will continue to meet all other state and federal laws and regulations regarding financial aid offers and consumer information disclosures.
