Tuition Insurance

VCU has partnered with GradGuard to offer tuition insurance. Tuition insurance may provide reimbursement for non-refundable tuition expenses in the event a covered student needs to leave school before the end of the semester for a covered reason.

Tuition insurance is completely optional. The agreement is with GradGuard and not with VCU.

Enrollment is available on a semester-by-semester basis for the fall and spring semesters. The enrollment is required prior to the last day to enroll in the installment payment plan for the covered semester.

Tuition insurance may be helpful if a student must withdraw from school after classes begin. If a student withdraws from VCU, tuition and fees are assessed according to the VCU Refund Policy.

Please visit GradGuard Tuition Insurance or call them at 1-877-794-6603 for more information. All questions and concerns about the tuition insurance should be directed to GradGuard. VCU representatives are unable to assist with tuition insurance-related inquiries.
